What We Do
I began my own journey into wellness after my youngest daughter was diagnosed in 1993 with an autoimmune illness at the age of 18 months. Four years later, I developed Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism.
Over time, I found that conventional medicine, although it has its place in health care, did not provide me with the tools necessary to optimize my or my family’s health. I found Functional Medicine and holistic modalities were my passion, and the implemented practices made our family more vibrant. I have focused my education and training on disciplines that prevent disease and optimize health.
While many medical approaches just mask a problem, my experience allows me to get to the root cause. I have a passion for optimal thyroid health which metaphorically is shaped like a butterfly and a core in my company name.
For me, the Monarch butterfly represents a transformation to optimal health. My greatest joy is to witness my patients who had complex chronic illnesses that transform like the butterfly – to be more resilient, vibrant, and free of chronic disease.

I am Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and Homeopath with over 30 years of experience in the Medical Health Care field. I have a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing cum Laude and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan Magna cum laude.
Held various work experiences such as Intensive Care nurse, Emergency room, Home Care Director of clinical services, Research and nurse educator. Also have a diplomate in Homeopathy and Bioenergetics, and Auricular Therapy. I am a member of ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) with certification. I had the fortunate opportunity to train with a top 10 Autism Physician and Functional Medicine provider, Dr James Neuenschwander in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
My medical journey has provided me with an extensive amount of experience to assess and diagnose my patients with some of the most challenging symptoms using integrative medical approaches. I am excited to be part of the Denver community; to be near my adult kids and new grandson. My desire to treat clients holistically root back to 1993 after family health struggles and the desire to optimize health through sustainable lifestyle-based interventions. I enjoy hiking, yoga, cooking, reading and love the outdoors.
